Less than 100 hours to go

If you've never seen and heard it here is a short video of the NZ All Black's Rugby team performing the Haka before a match. Now ask yourself would you step out onto the field confronted by this display of ferocity.


It's been great to see the blog traffic and postings pick up keep up the communication and discussions especially great to see all of the great links and to hear about the various preparations and plans you have all been doing.

Here is a recent story in the NZ herald about potentially unsafe water at the beach resort town of Tairua.

Tairua is one of my absolute favorite beaches and is located on the Coromandel peninsula where we will visit. Speaking of visits we have made some arrangements to add on a few day trip excursions to the program so get ready to visit Waitomo caves, Raglan beach, and Cathedral cove. More details on that later.

One of the activities we will be doing is some hands on treasure hunting thanks to geocaching so you might want to find out a bit more about how that works and search for cache sites near the places we will be visiting. Working in teams we will be searching out and finding cache sites and then logging their discovery. Adam has set us up with our own geocache account- I will send the details on accessing it in a separate email.
